Home-Delivered Meals

Procedure

                          1. Call 314.612.5918 SLAAA (St Louis Area on Aging)

                         2. A representative will answer and ask a series of questions, or leave a message and someone will return your call.

                         3. If you are approved, a member of our team will call and let you know when your meal delivery will begin.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Home-bound as a result of a physical or mental disability. Must provide proof of disability.
  2. Adults 60 years and over, or the spouse of a home-bound older adult.
  3. Persons with a disability 18 - 59.
  4. St. Louis City Resident.

What you Receive

  1. City Seniors will deliver a nutritionally balanced lunch, planned by a dietician, right to your front door. Monday - Friday.
  2. Delivery time is between 12:30pm and 1:00pm.
  3. A friendly smile and a quick chat from a person who has been screened for elder abuse, sexual abuse, and has undergone criminal background screening.
  4. Emergency meals are delivered periodically for use when inclement weather prohibits  delivery of your regular meal.
  5. Persons identified as being at "nutritional risk" are seen by a registered dietician, and receive a complete nutritional assessment and counseling.
